  • What do diversity and belonging actually mean?

    An introduction to key concepts around diversity and belonging. We will also discuss how power dynamics shape the experience of belonging and what this means for everyday interactions within teams and in contact with their audiences.

    This workshop offers a starting point for anyone who is curious, wants to better understand areas of tension, or simply wishes to learn why diversity and belonging matter for their organisation.

  • How can we foster a sense of belonging for everyone in the team?

    When the dynamics around diversity lead to tension, spaces for reflection and co-creation become essential. This workshop addresses challenges in everyday work life – from exclusion caused by established routines to microaggressions in the break room. Through hands-on exercises and shared reflections, we will strengthen our understanding of different perspectives and identify practical steps towards greater team cohesion.

  • Diversity and Belonging: How can I act responsibly as a leader without fully understanding everything?

    Leaders play a key role in shaping how diversity and belonging are experienced within teams and organisations. At the same time, they often find themselves navigating complex and emotionally charged situations.

    This workshop offers space to reflect on responsibility, role modeling, and the scope for action. Participants are invited to bring in their own cases for shared discussion. They will leave with practical strategies and the opportunity to engage in open peer exchange with other leaders.

    Dates: Fri 27 June, 9am to 12pm & Fri 3 July, 9am to 12pm

  • How to offer diversity-sensitive support as contact persons?

    How do we respond when someone shares an experience of discrimination that we cannot personally relate to? And what if the person doesn't want advice, but simply wants to be heard?

    In this space, we reflect on our own approaches, active listening, and discuss how to deal with uncertainty and personal boundaries. This workshop is designed for people in trusted roles, such as psychological counselling, career or academic advising, or leadership positions.

  • How can we make application processes more inclusive?

    Questions of belonging often arise as early as the selection process. In this workshop, we discuss job postings, interviews, and selection procedures from an anti-discriminatory and diversity-oriented perspective. We share experiences of common barriers and explore practical options to overcome them. This offer is for anyone involved in recruitment and selection.
